Kiwanis International Convention: St. Louis

Our 89th Annual International Conference in St. Louis was a great success. We had representation from three clubs in Division 8. Present and accounted for were:

  • Barrie

  • Kempenfelt Bay

  • Owen Sound

In addition to our delegates attending ceremonies, training sessions and the House of Delegates I took part in Trustees Meetings and served as a Sargent of Arms.

The Millennium Hotel served as our EC&C convention central.

The Arch is perhaps the most recognized landmark of St. Louis. Several of us braved the claustrophobic ride to the very top, for the opportunity to peer through small windows and take photos of the city below.

Delegates took part in voting on a number of resolutions including one that enables Kiwanis International to bill clubs annually as opposed to twice a year.

Not quite an official Caucus, representatives of the Owen Sound, Barrie and Kempenfelt Bay clubs meet for an informal lunch.

EC&C Governor Joanne Murray is flanked by Lieutenant Governor Gary and Owen Sound President-Elect Clarke McLeod.
