Mid-winter Meeting: Nassau
Our mid-winter meeting on the magnificent Paradise Island
(Nassau) was a great success. Lieutenant Governors met with
members of our District Executive under the able leadership
of Governor Hazel Brandon. DST Les Gagné, together with his
assistant Lise Pichette, made sure that papers were in
order, AV equipment was set up where and when it should be
and that the meeting ran smoothly and without incident.
Our meeting opened with a leadership seminar by Ottawa based
"Pirate", Bob Garrow. Bob talked about paradigm shifts and
changing the way we think about Kiwanis, drawing on
historical pirate examples to illustrate his points. |
