District Update

SUCCESS IN 2007

I would like to wish each of you great success as this year's officers of your Kiwanis Clubs.


Although I'm relatively new to the DST position, I'm no stranger to Kiwanis International. I bring some good experience working as Club Development Manager with Kiwanis International for North America. I would like to invite you to contact me or Lise if you have any questions or need help improving your club.


I also wanted to insure you have already sent in your current roster to Kiwanis International for billing purposes. As you know, if KI doesn't receive your new roster (by the required date), they use the roster from last year.


Today marks the launch date of the FRESH K-Ray (EC&C's newsletter). Please find a copy attached for your perusal and distribution. We have also made the K-ray available online at http://www.kiwanisecc.org. PLEASE forward a copy of the FRESH K-ray to all your members and encourage them to log onto our district site and sign up to receive their personal copy of K-ray via email. THEY COULD WIN some KIWANIS COOL K-wear and district convention registration for 2.


Finally, this year, we are planning to make some significant changes and improvements in the service district office provide to its clubs and membership. In addition to our proposed improvements, I would like to invite you to submit any ideas of your own and/or ways to improve the current communication system and services.

PS WE ARE LOOKING FOR ARTICLES, IDEAS, STORIES, FEATURES, and PHOTOS of Kiwanis making a BIG noise in your community. Please send to district@kiwanisecc.org.
